Amal Fair ends in Jashore

The two-day Amal Fair marking the 17th anniversary of death of Tebhaga Movement leader Amal Sen, who was also the founder president of Workers Party of Bangladesh, ended on Saturday at Bankri Goverment Priamary School and Bakri Secondary School ground under Bagharpara upazila in Jashore.
On the second day, Workers Party of Bangladesh(Marxist) general seretary Iqbal Kabir Jahid chaired the discussion where Workers Party of Bangladesh(Marxist) leaders Anil Biswas, Isarul Haque, Jillur Rahman Bhitu, Biplabi WP leader Saiful Haque and Rafiquzzaman and United Cummunist League leader Abdus Sattar spoke.
Amal Sen was born in a zaminder family at Afra village under Narail district on 19th July,1913. Zaminder Jitendranath Sen was his father .He took part in movements aginst the British ruler while he was a student of Class-IX and enrolled his name in Communist Party in 1933 and used to stage demonstrations against zaminders.
