Former UP member Mohammad Ali is said to be the ancestral owner of 5 percent of the land in R.S. 31 Dag of Jirabo Mouza under Ashulia Police Station in Dhaka district. The allegation of building on this land is found against former MP Dewan Mohammad Salauddin Babu’s relatives Matiur Rahman and Mosa Kamrunnahar.
It is known that Matiur Rahman is a relative of former MP of Dhaka-19 Dr. Dewan Mohammad Salauddin Babu and Kamrunnahar’s aunt.
According to the allegation, there is an allegation of building a market by forcibly occupying land inside the land owned by former UP member Mohammad Ali, son of Tamiz Uddin of Jirabo area under Ashulia Police Station, through ancestral sources. In this regard, Mohammad Ali filed a written complaint with Ashulia Police Station on September 29 against Manik Mia’s son Matiur Rahman (62) and deceased Abdul Mannan’s wife Kamrunnahar (65) and 7/8 other unidentified people for forcibly occupying land, intimidating and threatening them.
The victim former UP member Mohammad Ali alleged that his brother A. Motaleb, the current BNP and party union president of Yarpur Union, who is a part of RS-27 and 30 in the same mouza, who is supported by the Awami League, is forcibly occupying and enjoying 28 percent of the land in the name of his brother Abdul Hai. In the investigation of information on this matter, it was learned that Mohammad Ali, as a BNP party supporter and a loyal worker of the previous BNP, was a victim of imprisonment, torture and torture along with former BNP MP Salauddin Babu during the dictatorship. He also informed about being a victim of political cases at Ashulia Police Station at various times. As a BNP party supporter, he is currently also facing various forms of revenge. It is known that there is a malicious group behind this. UP member Mohammad Ali also expressed regret that he is not getting relief from the conspiracies of those known as Awami League supporters at the present time.
In this case, the victim Mohammad Ali said that during the previous fascist government, I was attacked and tortured during the then government because I worked as a supporter in party activities with former BNP party MP Mohammad Salauddin Babu. During the current interim government, I am being deprived of my real rights by Awami League supporters.
The victim Mohammad Ali sought the prompt intervention of the local administration and public representatives to immediately stop the illegal construction work.
In this regard, SI Saiful Islam, the investigating officer of the case, told this reporter that I have called the police station with the legal documents of both parties and have also given orders to stop the work at that place.
When asked about this, accused Matiur Rahman said, “I was not told anything about this from the police station. However, Madam was called Mohammad Ali, but he could not show any documents.” The allegations made by Muhammad Ali against us are completely false and baseless.
When former MP Dr. Dewan Mohammad Salauddin Babu was called on his mobile phone to inquire about the accused, he did not receive it.
