All students from 4 colleges failed in HSC

Not a single student from 4 colleges in Khulna passed the HSC examination this year.

The results announced by the Jessore Board on Thursday. MM City College in Khulna became the first to achieve GPA-5 in the Jessore Board.

Board sources said that out of 103 educational institutions in Khulna, 1 student from Model College Khulna in Dumuria Upazila of Khulna district participated and failed.

In addition, 1 student from Home Economics College in Khulna Sadar, 5 from Kapilmuni Sahchari Vidya Mandir in Paikgachha, and 8 from Adarsh Shiksha Niketan School and College in Terkhada Upazila participated but none passed.

Analysis of the results showed that this year 22,518 students from 103 educational institutions in Khulna participated. Out of these, only 12,156 passed.

The average pass rate is 53.98 percent. Khulna is in second place among the 10 districts of the division in terms of pass rate in Jessore Board.

This year, the highest number of students who got GPA-5 in the board was from Khulna Government Majid Memorial (MM) City College, 547 students.

This year, 1,059 students participated from City College and 1,035 passed.
Khulna Government Women’s College is in second place. This year, 1,109 students participated from this college and 985 passed.

124 failed. 204 got GPA-5. From Sundarban Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, 168 got GPA-5. This year, 1,163 students participated from this college. Out of these, 376 failed.
