One of the country’s most iconic figures in cinema, Alamgir
is stepping into the world of podcasting for the first time.
While the beloved star has earned his place in the hearts of audiences as a leading actor,
he views himself simply as an artiste-one who believes that a performer can never truly retire, though they may take breaks.
Alamgir will soon be seen on the podcast show titled ‘Ami Alamgir’ (‘I Am Alamgir’), where he plans to share insights
about his life and career.
However, the first episode will focus on paying tribute to the film directors he worked with during his illustrious film career.
“I owe who I am today to the directors I worked with,” Alamgir said.
He also said, “They are often referred to as the ‘captains of the ship,’ and I want to first
and foremost honor them for their contributions.”
The teaser for the podcast was released on February 2 at 8:00pm on the ‘Eyes On’ Facebook page and the ‘Eyes On Studio’ YouTube channel.
Alamgir’s full podcast series will begin airing on February
9 (Sunday).
