Awami League does not care about visa policies and restrictions, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said yesterday.
He made the remarks while talking to reporters at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after returning home from Singapore following health check-up and treatment.
“In the politics of Bangladesh, the fate of politics has been determined by two selfies within a week.
BNP leaders’ sleep disappeared seeing Biden’s selfie with PM.”
The AL general secretary said that the current government does not care about the visa policy, reports The Daily Star.
“The Awami League government wants to conduct a peaceful, free, and impartial election.
Those who want free, peaceful, and impartial elections, do not care about the visa policy.
Those who don’t want elections, want to question elections,” he added.
Quader, also the road, transport, and bridges minister, said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has no alternative to protect democracy.
“Awami League wants everyone including the BNP to participate in the election.
However, the people will resist anything that stand against [holding] the election,” he added.
