Al-Arafah Islami Bank honours 7 agents for contribution to deposit mobilisation

Al-Arafah Islami Bank has recognised and awarded seven agents outlet owners for their exemplary contributions to deposit mobilisation and raising awareness about agent banking services.
Selected from a nationwide network of 745 agent outlets, these individuals were honoured for making a significant impact in expanding the bank’s outreach and promoting financial inclusion, says a press release.
The award ceremony was held on Thursday at the bank’s head office in the capital.
Managing Director (Current Charge) of the Bank Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan attended the event as the chief guest and presented the awards across three distinct categories.
In his address, Khan extended his heartfelt congratulations to the award recipients and emphasised the importance of agent banking in achieving financial inclusion across the country.
He remarked, “Agent banking serves as an effective and timely tool to bring secure and quality financial services to the doorstep of underserved communities. We are working strategically to transform our Agent Banking Division into a modern, customer-centric, and sustainable platform. Soon, these agent outlets will offer advanced and diversified retail banking services. Achieving this transformation will require collective effort, professionalism, and strong teamwork.”
