Akkas Uddin Mollah elected Chairman and Alhaj Md Sanaullah Shahid Vice Chairman of Executive Committee (EC) of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited at the 198th meeting of the Board of Directors held recently.
Akkas Uddin Mollah is a renowned businessman and established a number of garment industries. He is Chairman and Managing Director of Russel Spinning Mills Ltd, Russel Garments Ltd, Ekram Sweaters Ltd, Russel Knitting Ltd, Russel Washing Plant, Shahan Colours Ltd, Tania Cotton Mills Ltd and PnR Fastener Co Ltd.
Mollah is the Chairman of Osman Memorial Hospital and Osmania Madrasa.
Md Sanaullah Shahid is engaged with electronics business after completing hon’s degree in Commerce. He is a Sponsor Shareholder and Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited. Shahid is the Chairman of Electra International Ltd., a Sole Distributor of Samsung Brand Electronics Goods and Sponsor Shareholder of Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Limited.
