Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan on Tuesday paid a farewell call on President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban, reports BSS.
The air force chief expressed his gratitude to the president for his cooperation while performing his duties, President’s Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin told newsmen in a media briefing after the meeting.
The president was also apprised by the air chief of the overall activities of the air force, including its overall development work.
The president, also the supreme commander of the Armed Forces, thanked the outgoing air force chief for successfully discharging his assignment.
