Air Astra, Bangladesh’s newest airline, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) within two years of launching commercial operations.
This recognition underscores the airline’s commitment to ensuring passenger safety and comfort while adhering to global standards, said an airline press release here.
“Joining IATA marks a major milestone for us. This membership strengthens our commitment to providing a world-class travel experience while maintaining the highest global standards in air travel,” Air Astra Chief Executive Officer Imran Asif said on the occasion.
