The regional rounds of the Al-Arafah Islami Bank (AIB) 11th Bangladesh Junior Science Olympiad (BDJSO) – 2025 were held in Chattogram and Netrokona on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
The events took place at CDA Public School & College in Chattogram and Datta High School in Netrokona, where thousands of students from different districts participated in the Olympiad, says a press release.
Earlier, students from Dhaka, Khulna, Rajshahi, and Rangpur divisions had already competed in their respective regional rounds. From these divisional-level Olympiads, a total of 60 students from across the country will be selected to participate in the national round of BDJSO.
With the patronage of Al-Arafah Islami Bank, more than 17 thousand students from all over the country have registered for the Bangladesh Junior Science Olympiad.
