Directorate of Agriculture Extension has distributed agricultural incentives worth Tk. 17 crore 63 thousand 500 among 1 lakh 65 thousand 510 beneficiaries of Rangpur district in the financial year 2023-2024.
According to the information of the Rangpur district office of the Directorate of Agricultural Extension, fertilizers and seeds worth Tk. 4 crore 73 lakh 66 thousand 800 have been distributed among 8 thousand 200 farmers under the Agricultural Incentive Program.
On Saturday afternoon, Bina Rangpur Center Officer-in-Charge Dr. Mohammad Ali said that fertilizer seeds have been distributed to 3,000 beneficiaries this financial year.
Under the same programme, fertilizers and seeds worth Tk. 4 crore 35 lakh 92 thousand 200 have been distributed among 40 thousand 110 farmers for winter crop cultivation.
