The Agrani Bank has reported that it incurred a consolidated loss of Tk982 crore in 2024.
Sources said, the bank’s consolidated loss per share was Tk44.68, as per the bank’s audited statement filed on its website.
Agrani Bank incurred a loss mainly due to higher provision requirements against a large number of high non-performing loans.
Its total classified loans stood at Tk32,000 crore at the end of 2024.
