Bangladesh Football team defeated India Football team by a solitary goal in their Group-C match of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup Qualifiers held at the National Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday.
After 22 years, Bangladesh saw win against India in International football competition.
Bangladesh claimed five points from five matches in their Group-C campaign, while India remained with two points from as many matches.
Morsalin put his team ahead after getting the pass from his teammate Rakib Hossain in the 12th minute of the play.
Rakib dodged past two Indian defenders and passed the ball at the small D-box of India where Moraslin was there and Morsalin found the net from a handshaking distance of the goalbar.
Hamza Choudhury entertained the spectators of the jam-packed stadium by a spectacular shot which narrowly passed away the goalbar in the 44th minute of the game.
Earlier, India came close to score in the 34th minute but Hamza Choudhury saved his team from the danger in the 34th minute of the clash.
After the lemon-break, India got another opportunity but the Indian forward’s shot was saved by Bangladesh goalie Mitul Marma in the 70th minute of the game.
