Afeida hopes BD women perform better against Jordan

Captain of Bangladesh Women’s Football team Afeida Khandaker hopes her team will perform better against Jordan Women’s Football team at Amman, the capital city of Jordan on June 3. It will be a FIFA International Women’s friendly match. The match will kick-off at 10:00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time).
Earlier, Bangladesh women played a goalless draw with their stronger opponent team Indonesia on May 31 at the same venue. According to the latest FIFA ranking, Jordan have taken 74th position, while Bangladesh have taken 133rd spot.
After the match against Indonesia, the eve booters of Bangladesh took part in the recovery session on Sunday. They took part in the gym-session and also swam in the swimming pool there.
After making a goalless draw with Indonesia, Afeida is highly delighted. She said, ” We have done, what we wanted. We are very happy as we drew with Indonesia. We made draw with Indonesia as we followed the instruction of our Head Coach Peter Butler. Today we acted to recover from our tiredness. We shall take part in the full-fledged practice session tomorrow.”
The confidence of female booters are very high after making draw with Indonesia, which have advanced, according to the strength.
Afeida wants to do better performance against their next match against Jordan.
Bangladesh will take part in the upcoming AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. Bangladesh, Myanmar, Bahrain, Turkmenistan have been billed in Group-C of AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers. The Group-C matches of AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers will start on June 29. Myanmar Football Federation is the host of the Group-C matches of AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers.
Bangladesh will take on Bahrain on June 29, Bangladesh will play against Myanmar on July 2, Bangladesh will meet Turkmenistan on July 5.
