Bangladesh Railway (BR) will begin selling advance train tickets for Eid-ul-Azha from May 21, starting with tickets for travel on May 31. Eid-ul-Azha, the second-largest religious festival for Muslims, is expected to be observed on June 7 or 8, depending on moon sighting.
This year, all advance tickets must be purchased online, as decided in a recent meeting chaired by BR Director General Md. Afzal Hossain at Railway Bhaban.

May 21: Tickets for May 31
May 22: Tickets for June 1
May 23: Tickets for June 2
May 24: Tickets for June 3

Return Ticket Sale Schedule (Post-Eid Travel):
May 30: Tickets for June 9
May 31: Tickets for June 10
June 1: Tickets for June 11

June 5: Tickets for June 15
To streamline the process, tickets for western zone trains will go on sale from 8:00 AM, while eastern zone tickets will be available from 2:00 PM each day.
