Actress Rukaiya Chamok gives direction of movie

Rukaiya Jahan Chamok is a popular TV actress of present generation. In television dramas, she came into limelight within very short time. Chamok had dreamt to attach herself with various activities in media besides acting. From that dream, she has become a director. The actress has made a movie titled ‘D’ -Dhaka Drug Dealers.
Chamok informed that story, dialogues and script of this movie were written by herself. She is optimistic about this crime suspense thriller based movie.
While talking about giving direction of this movie, Chamok told this correspondent, “It is really difficult to make crime suspense thriller based movie. It is also difficult to make this type of movie with government support. However, I got maximum support from the production house of the movie. I tried to give my level best effort to make this movie applying my best talent. I can only say that in private arrangement, nobody dares to make this type of film. We faced many troubles while making this movie. Meanwhile, we made the film successfully. Now after completing rest works of the movie, we will submit it into the Censor Board. Then we are planning to release the movie current year.” Meanwhile, casting Mahi and Soumyo, Chamok has made a short film titled ‘Chir.’ It will be released on OTT platform soon.
Before that, this short film will be screened in international film festivals. Chamok is now in Thailand. After returns, she will complete rest work of the movie, said the actress.
