The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed two separate cases against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and her son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, for allegedly abusing their power to acquire plots from RAJUK.
Confirming the matter, ACC Director General Md Akhtar Hossain said, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the cases at its Dhaka integrated district office on Tuesday.
In the two separate cases, Sajeeb Wazed Joy and Sheikh Hasina are named as the primary accused. Additionally, Sheikh Hasina has been included as an accomplice in the case against Sajeeb Wazed Joy.
The case filed against Sheikh Hasina also includes a total of eight people, including housing and RAJUK officials. Meanwhile, the case against Joy comprises in charge of a total 15 individuals, including Sheikh Hasina and officials from the housing and RAJUK sectors.
