The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against the former office assistant of the Sitakunda sub-registrar’s office and his wife on charges of obtaining illegal wealth through corruption and concealing information. On Wednesday (December 13), Deputy Assistant Director of the ACC District Office Chittagong-2. Khairul Islam Bhuiyan filed the case as the plaintiff.
The accused are, former office assistant of Sitakunda sub registrar’s office Rafiq Ahmad and his wife Noor Jahan Begum.

Although the wife identifies herself as a trader, she does not have a trade license. The wife is arranged by the businessman to legitimize the money earned through her husband’s corruption.
