Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Asia Cup will be held in September this year. Earlier, due to military clash between Pakistan and India, the Asia Cup becomes uncertain. But the uncertainty of Asia Cup is wiped up day by day.
The Asian Cricket Council has planed to stage Asia Cup in September, according to a website, which is a online cricket media. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates will take part in the Asia Cup, the gala extravaganza of Asia Continent.
The website also revealed that though everything is not finalized but it beaconed that the officials of Asian Cricket Council will flourish the itinerary of the six participating teams and then the officials of ACC will participate in the meeting in July.
Earlier, it was finalised that the ACC Asia Cup will be held in India. But due to relation between Pakistan and India, the mega event may be held in the United Arab Emirates. Besides, the ACC will stage the Asia Cup in a hybrid model.
Recently it is seen that India and Pakistan have been billed in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup. According to the latest fixture, India Women’s Cricket team will face Pakistan Women’s Cricket team in Colombo in the match of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup on October 5.
If everything goes well, the ACC Asia Cup will be commenced from September 10. The format of the Asia Cup will be held as a T20 format.
