Abdur Rahim Khan appointed FBCCI administrator

Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Md Abdur Rahim Khan has been appointed as the administrator of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the country’s apex trade body. He formally took charge as the FBCCI administrator on Sunday morning.

According to an official order issued by the Ministry of Commerce, Abdur Rahim Khan has been appointed under Section 17 of the Trade Organisation Act, 2022. As per the order, he will hand over responsibilities to an elected board within 120 days after conducting a fair and impartial election.
