The members of Police rescued from Lalmonirhat on Tuesday evening an 8-month-old child named Noor Mohammad was abducted in Bajitpur of Kishoreganj after 3 days. Two alleged abducts were also arrested during the raid.
The accused named Preeti Akhter (24), a garment worker in Sararchar of Bajitpur and mason Atiqul Islam Atiq (30), son of Idris Ali in Lalmonirhat town. Kidnapped child Noor Mohammad, son of Sharif Mia of Pipradi village of Bajitpur upazila, her mother Lippi Akhtar Shanta has a beautician in Sarachar Bazar of. Bajitpur upazila.
Meanwhile, Accused Preeti Akhter is the daughter of deceased Nazrul Islam Naznu Mia of Dakshin Sararchar village of Bajitpur upazila. Atiqul Islam is the son of Idris Ali of Mustafi Balapara village of Sadar Upazila of Lalmonirhat district.
Police Super, Kishoreganj, Mohammad Russell Sheikh PPM (Bar), BPM (Sheba) gave this information in a press conference at his office conference room on Wednesday afternoon. Later the child was handed over to his mother.
