On Friday, Mujibur Rahman Manju, chairman of the “Amar Bangladesh” (AB) Party and the Eagle Marker nominated MP candidate for Feni Sadar constituency, at a public meeting said.
“Old politics is about making one person jealous of another, one group actually evicts another group, one person tears down another’s posters, banners are taken down, most of the money allocated for roads is extortionist, local gangsters and terrorists eat it. That is why we want to stop old politics and do new politics.”
Manju said, “People trust us because of the role we played in the July mass uprising, our call is that we, the new ones, want to change, the old ones have also done a lot of good work, they have also contributed to development.”
At this time, Manju shook hands with people from different classes, hugged someone to his chest.
He listened attentively to many people. In this way, he exchanged greetings with the grassroots people.
On Friday morning, Manju held mass contacts in various areas of the union including Majid Mia Bazaar, Rani Hat, Kazirbagh Bazaar, and others.
On the same day, in the afternoon, he held a courtyard meeting at Banani Pada in Sharshadi.
