The Board of AB Bank PLC in its 813th Board Meeting elected Kaiser A. Chowdhury as the Chairman of the Board.
Chowdhury is an iconic banker with years of experience as CEO and Board Member of several Banks and Financial Institutions.
He started his career with ANZ Grindlays Bank in 1975 and worked for over 24 yearsin key positions before joining One Bank as CEO from 1999 to 2004 and then to AB Bank from 2005 to 2012. Later, he joined as CEO of Meghna Bank, says a press release.
Chowdhury also worked in different capacities in GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh Limited) and Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC).
