Aarong has announced “Winter Wonderland 2025: A Celebration of Crafts”, a festive carnival aimed at showcasing Bangladesh’s rich craft heritage and the artisans behind it. The month-long event will take place at the Aarong Tejgaon outlet, transforming the space into a vibrant hub of crafts, music, food, and digital experiences.
The carnival will highlight traditional Bangladeshi crafts such as jamdani, nakshi kantha, hand embroidery, jewellery, and rickshaw art, while also telling the stories of Aarong’s rural artisans, whose handcrafted work has defined the brand for nearly five decades. During the festival, the Tejgaon outlet will remain open for late-night shopping until 11?pm, allowing visitors to enjoy a festive evening experience.
Winter Wonderland 2025 will feature weekly themed experiences, including Pitha Uthshob, Thanda Beats, a wedding celebration, and live concerts by top national artists, culminating in a grand finale during the last week. The carnival is designed as a family-friendly event, with food carts offering local street foods such as pithas, fuchka, chotpoti, kebabs, and seasonal snacks, a dedicated Kids’ Zone, carnival games at Terracotta Tales, and interactive DIY craft zones.
Visitors will also get a chance to explore the newly refreshed aarong.com through an experience zone. Alongside Aarong, the event will feature other BRAC social enterprises, including Aarong Origins (a high-quality food brand for daily essentials), Aarong Dairy supporting rural farmers, BRAC Healthcare, and Otithi, BRAC’s hospitality initiative rooted in local culture.
Aarong said Winter Wonderland 2025 is part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and social impact, deepening connections between customers and the communities behind every product while celebrating the craftsmanship and heritage of Bangladesh.
