The two-day conference of the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) concluded on Monday.
The Central Shariah Board for Islamic Banks of Bangladesh (CSBIB) took a significant step by arranging the instant translation of the keynotes presented at the 22nd Shariah Boards Conference of the host institution AAOIFI held on 28-29 April 2024.
The CSBIB ensured that the valuable insights shared were accessible to a wider audience.
A total of 6 Discussion sessions were conducted in the Conference side by side with Inaugural and Closing sessions.
8 Keynotes were presented on Sukuk, Halal Market and stipulating excess on a loan to be paid by a non-borrower (third party) and two discussion sessions were held.
12 translators translated the keynotes into Bangla language. The Chairman of the Central Shariah Board Professor Dr Muhammad Gias Uddin Talukder and its Secretary General Md Abdullah Sharif Participated in the Conference.
It may be added that the Shariah Boards conference keynotes were also translated from Arabic into English, Russian, Turkish, Indonesian, French, and Urdu alongside the Bangla language.
