A prayer gathering was held on Tuesday after Zuhr prayers at the Manik Mia Foundation auditorium at Ittefaq Bhaban to mark the second death anniversary of Barrister Mainul Hosein, founder of the English daily The New Nation. He was also chairman of the editorial board of the Daily Ittefaq. The event was organised by the family. Present on the occasion were late Barrister Mainul Hosein’s elder son Javed Hosein, younger son and Managing Editor of daily The New Nation, Arshad Hosein, Editor of the daily Naya Diganta Salahuddin Md. Babar and journalists, officials, and others.
