A women rights personality and President of Fight for women Rights Advocate Rehana Begum Ranu foiled the marriage function of a 14- yrs juvenile in Chittagong yesterday.
Juvenile Ishrat Jahan (14) student of class Nine of Madarbari City Corporation school . The Akhad ceremony of the girl was scheduled to be held at Madarbari Jugichand mosque yesterday but sensing the news of Kabinama (Akhad) , Advocate Rehana swooped on the spot and resisted the ceremony and took undertakings from the father of the girl against the early marriage of his daughter.
Advocate Rehena is a reputed NGO personality and working for the women rights and ward councilor of Chittagong.
