RU to reopen on Mar 9

Regular classes and examination of Rajshahi University (RU) will reopen on March 10 after a month closure following February 2 violence.
All the residential halls will reopen on March 9 at 9:00am.
The decision came through an emergency syndicate meeting on yesterday evening at 7:30pm presided over by RU vice chancellor Prof Muhammad Mizanuddin.
The authority also banned all types of procession, rally and miking for indefinite period on the campus.
Earlier on February, 2, authority closed the university for indefinite period following BCL, Cops attack on agitating students who were demonstrating against fee hike and evening master’s courses on the campus.
