Idols vandalised in Satkhira temple

Unidentified miscreants vandalised two idols of a Hindu god and a goddess in a temple at North Shibnagar in Sadar upazila early Thursday.
Sushanta Mandal, president of Sarbojanin Puja Mandap committee, said a gang of unidentified miscreants swooped on the temple sometime at night and damaged the idols of Hindu god Shib and goddess Saraswati.
The incident came to light early in the morning when the worshipers went to the temple in the morning, locals said.
