I want to work as an administrator, not a servant, for the citizens with the cooperation of everyone, regardless of party affiliation. Where the main goal will be to make a planned, clean and green city through a coordinated initiative.
He said these things during an exchange of views with journalists at Nagar Bhaban on Monday (March 16) morning.
The funny administrator said, ” My first task as an administrator will be to eliminate discrimination. Those who will be with me will be safe, just as those who will not be with me will also be safe. No discrimination will be shown to anyone.
We want to provide the benefits that citizens deserve, regardless of party affiliation. Initiatives will be taken so that citizens can easily get their services.
Regarding budget inequality, he said, Rangpur has been in the grip of budget inequality for a long time. Therefore, we are far behind other city corporations in the country. We have many challenges ahead of us.
We will take all kinds of initiatives to reduce the budget disparity by facing those challenges. He also said, I have informed the Prime Minister about the budget disparity in Rangpur. He is with us and is very sincere in the development of Rangpur.
Regarding Shyamasundari Canal, the administrator said, Shyamasundari Canal, known as the lungs of our Rangpur, has become an unclean place today due to the lack of a specific plan.
For this, first, short-term initiatives will be taken to develop the Shyamasundari Canal and make it clean. Then, through a long-term plan, we want to give Shyama Sundari a gift to the city. This requires time. We have to plan and move forward.
