Dhaka WASA gets new MD

Dr Muhammad Moniruzzaman, Additional Secretary of the Local Government Division, has been given the responsibility of Managing Director (MD) of Dhaka WASA.

An office order was issued by the Local Government Division on Monday, appointing him to the position as an additional responsibility alongside his current duties.

He was assigned the responsibility after Abdus Salam Bepari stepped down from the post of Managing Director.Moniruzzaman is currently serving as the Additional Secretary of the Water Supply Wing under the Local Government Division.

According to the office order, he will receive an additional responsibility allowance in line with the prevailing rules and regulations.
