US Asst Secy to visit Dhaka today

S. Paul Kapur, the US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, is set to arrive in Dhaka today for a two-day visit aimed at reinforcing strategic ties between the United States and Bangladesh, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by US Mission Spokesperson Poornima Rai.

During his stay, Kapur will hold meetings with government officials and business leaders to explore ways to expand bilateral trade and investment, strengthen security cooperation, and promote shared interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
