BRAC Bank appoints Nazmul Ahsan as Head of Treasury

BRAC Bank has appointed Nazmul Ahsan, CFA as the Head of Treasury of the bank. His appointment takes effect on Sunday.

With deep understanding of treasury dynamics, Nazmul brings in more than 17 years of diversified experience in various treasury functions. Before joining BRAC Bank in November 2024 as Head of Markets, he served in vital positions at Midland Bank and Easter Bank, where he developed a strong record of performance, strategic execution, and governance alignment.

Nazmul is a CFA Charterholder from CFA Institute, USA and holds bachelor degree on Finance from University of Dhaka.

Commenting on his appointment, Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank, said, “Nazmul’s in-depth industry knowledge and strong leadership skill will be instrumental in strengthening our treasury, asset and liability and wealth management functions.
