Apurba-Bindu pair returns

Afsan Ara Bindu, once a familiar face in television dramas, had stepped away from the entertainment world a few years ago to focus on her fashion house business.

Although she occasionally appeared in a few projects, she was not regularly active in acting. That was when the news spread that Bindu would be acting in a new web series.

Her co-star will be Ziaul Faruque Apurba. The series is titled ‘Headline’ and will be produced by Hoichoi.

The series’ shooting has been going on for three consecutive days. Last Thursday, Apurba, Bindu, and Yash Rohan completed the third day of shooting in Gazipur.

This phase of the shoot is expected to wrap up in a few days, after which an official release announcement will follow.

Apurba and Bindu were once a regular television drama pair. Nearly a decade ago.

This political thriller web series is written by Syed Ahmed Shawki, the creator of ‘Taqdeer’ and ‘Karagar’, and directed by Saleh Sobhan Auneem.

Rumor has it that Apurba will be playing the role of a journalist in the series.
