Farin urges more collaboration between Bangladeshi and Indian artists

Entertainment Report :

Tasnia Farin is currently in Kolkata shooting for Abu Hayat Mahmud’s film ‘Prince’. In this film, she has paired up with Shakib Khan for the first time.

Speaking about shooting in Kolkata, Farin said, “The last time I shot in Kolkata was for the film ‘Aaro Ek Prithibi’.

However, very little of that film was shot in Kolkata; most of it was filmed in London. This is my first time having a full shooting experience in Kolkata.

A bit of sightseeing, some good food… I have always loved Kolkata’s café culture. Especially the street in Hindustan Park-there are so many cafés there that even if you explore for a month, you probably wouldn’t finish visiting them all.”

Talking about the working styles in the two Bengals, Farin said, “Since we speak the same language, and our culture and food habits are quite similar, we share many common values, especially our family-centered lives. That is why the stories feel very close to us.

Whenever I receive a script from here, it never feels like I am reading a story from another country.”

Responding to a question about collaboration between artists from the two countries, Tasnia Farin said, “There should be more collaboration between artists from both countries. It will expand the industry and be economically beneficial as well.

When the two countries work together, bigger films can be made, and they will be able to reach a wider audience.”
