UCB opens new branch in Daganbhuiyan, Feni

United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB), as part of its ongoing initiative to expand banking services across the country, has inaugurated a new branch in Daganbhuiyan, Feni.

The branch has been launched with the aim of delivering modern, fast, and reliable banking services to local customers.

This marks UCB’s 234th branch, located at Rahman & Brothers, Faziler Ghat, Daganbhuiyan, Feni. The new branch was formally inaugurated by Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, Managing Director and CEO of UCB.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by local dignitaries, business leaders, and officials from UCB’s head office and local branches. The branch officially commenced its operations in a festive atmosphere.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director and CEO said that a significant portion of the country’s population still remains outside the formal banking system. UCB is working gradually to bring this segment under the umbrella of banking services.

Expanding digital services to accelerate financial inclusion is also a key priority of the bank. Through the new branches, individuals and businesses in the area will be able to access deposits, loans, remittance services, digital banking, and other modern banking facilities more conveniently.
