What makes busy with former heroine Jona

The once popular heroine Sumona Jona has not been involved in cinema for a long time.

At one time, besides acting in films, she also ran a fashion house called ‘Aryan Fashion’ in the capital’s Uttara area. The actress was involved in this business from 2003 to 2015.

Due to her frequent visits to the United States, Jona was no longer able to continue this business.

In 2018, she opened a salon named ‘Jawed Habib’ in Gulshan-2 of the capital, with separate rooms for men and women, upstairs and downstairs in the same building.

The name of the men’s salon is ‘Jawed Habib Salon’ and the name of the women’s salon is ‘Jawed Habib Hair & Beauty Spa’ located at 6/B, Road No 44, Gulshan, Dhaka.

Actress Jona married to successful businessman Zubayer Hossain on February 14 in 2009.

She has three children – Aryan, Afsin and Aiden. Regarding talking about own business, once popular heroine Jona told this correspondent, “This is basically our family business and it has been run by our family for a long time.

Basically, my husband and my brother-in-law are very busy with other businesses.

I am mainly busy with these two salons. I especially take care of the women’s beauty and spa.

One thing that needs to be said is that our salons use quality products imported from America, Dubai and other countries around the world.

All types of beauty services are provided at our salons. Both salons have gained quite a reputation in the past nine years.

We are committed to maintaining this reputation.” Jona made her big screen debut in 2002 in the movie ‘Hridoyer Banshi’ opposite hero Shakil Khan.

After that, she was seen acting in several other films including ‘Daktar Bari’, ‘Biyer Logon’, ‘Bajao Biyer Bajna’, ‘Jonmo’, ‘Thanda Mathar Khuni’, ‘Aslam Bhai’, ‘Mon Chuyeche Mon’ and others.
