Mystery of 4 heroines in fim ‘Pressure Cooker’

Entertainment Desk :
Director Raihan Rafi’s films always have something new. His new film ‘Pressure Cooker’ will be released on the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
The director recently made the official announcement of the film by releasing two posters in a row.
Both posters feature the four main female characters, which has already created a lot of curiosity among the audience.
Apparently, the movie ‘Pressure Cooker’ centres around four women.
Among them, Shobnom Bubly, Nazifa Tushi, Maria Shanto and Snigdha Chowdhury.
The director said that the story of this film is set against the backdrop of the limitations, unspoken hardships, and invisible struggles of women in Dhaka city.
According to director Rafi, this city is a kind of ‘pressure cooker’ for women, where the ‘city’ of this story rings out as if unable to bear the accumulated silent cries.
Although Dhallywood’s commercial films are usually dominated by hero-driven stories, Rafi has taken an unusual path here.
The director has taken this different initiative by focusing on four women without any main male characters.
In the new look, it is seen that although the decorations have an air of nobility, a kind of mystery has emerged in the eyes of the four heroines.
Meanwhile, many on social media are comparing this look to the look from Bollywood’s ‘Heeramandi’.
It is known that the film is jointly produced by Faridur Reza Sagor and Raihan Rafi under the banners of Kanan Films and Impress Telefilm. However, the director is also involved in the production of the film.
If everything goes well, the film will be released in theatres across the country on Eid-ul-Fitr this year.
