Govt to build drug, terrorism, eve teasing free country

Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon is determined to build a country free from drugs, terrorism, eve teasing and juvenile gangs in the continuation of the success of building a fake-free education system.
He said the drug and anti-terror drive would be started from Kachua as the successful anti-counter-terrorist movement started from Kachua.

He said this while exchanging views with reporters in Kachua upazila of Chandpur on Friday.
The education minister said Kachua upazila will be drug-free, free from terrorism and evetising in phases.
To this end, effective steps will be taken in coordination with the administration, law enforcement agencies and local people’s representatives.

He said that the fake-free Kachua once set an example across the country. We want a model of a drug and terrorism-free Bangladesh.

He also said that the journey of a corruption-free society is also planned to start from Kachua.
The education minister said Bangladesh will be built in the coming days under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and the announced programmes will be implemented in a step-by-step manner.

Milon has been elected from Chandpur-1 seat in the 13th parliamentary election. He was the Minister of Education and Primary and Mass Education. This is his first visit to his constituency of Kochua since taking office.
Chandpur Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md. Nazmul Islam Sarkar, Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Senior officials of the administration and law enforcement agencies, including Rabiul Hasan, were present.
