10 doctors join Ishwarganj Health Complex

A total of 10 new doctors have joined the Ishwarganj Upazila Health Complex in Mymensingh to improve the quality of healthcare services. Local residents have welcomed this government initiative aimed at resolving the long-standing shortage of medical personnel.
According to sources at the Upazila Health Complex, on January 5, ENT specialist Dr. Debproya Roy and Orthopedic specialist Dr. Bishwajit Nandi joined the facility. Later, on January 19, through the 48th BCS (Health) cadre recruitment, Dr. Anannya Sarker, Dr. Tanbin Hasan, Dr. Abdul Kadir Hijol, Dr. Jannatul Mawa, Dr. Jayita Das (BDS), Dr. Hafsa Akter Rupa, Dr. Jamil Arafat Nibir, and Dr. Jannatul Ferdous Jeni officially joined their workplace at the Ishwarganj Health Complex last Thursday.
On the occasion, the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, Dr. Zakir Hossain, welcomed the newly joined doctors with flowers.
Dr. Zakir Hossain said that the long-standing shortage of physicians at the Ishwarganj Upazila Health Complex has been largely addressed with the joining of these 10 young and talented doctors.
In particular, with the addition of specialist doctors, local patients will now receive more advanced medical services. He expressed hope that through collective efforts, the health complex can be transformed into a model service center. The goal now is to ensure quality healthcare services reach the doorsteps of ordinary people.
