AIB inaugurates training prog on leadership & communication skills

A 2-day training course on “Connect, Influence, Grow: Leadership, Communication and Interpersonal Excellence” has begun at the Bank’s Training Institute.
Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan inaugurated the training workshop as the chief guest on Tuesday.
In his speech as the chief guest, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan highlighted the importance of leadership skills, effective communication, and the development of interpersonal relationships in the banking sector. He urged the trainees to effectively apply the knowledge, skills, and experience gained from the training in the workplace to achieve customer service excellence.
At the same time, he emphasized on building a cohesive team work environment and further strengthening the positive image of the bank. He further stated that the skills and mindset they are cultivating on Tuesday will play a significant role not only in the advancement of the banking sector but also in shaping their own professional careers in the future.
The training workshop was presided over by the Senior Executive Vice President & Principal of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI) Md. Abdur Rahim Duary. Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zia’s Language Center, Canada, Khondaker Zia Hasan and Business English Trainer Mehedi Hasan were present as the resource person.
Senior Vice President of the Bank Touhid Siddique, Senior Assistant Vice President S. M. Zulkar Nayen, and Assistant Vice President Md Farhad Ul Alam were also present at the workshop.
A total of 31 employees of the Bank are participating in the program. The two-day training focuses on leadership development, communication skills enhancement, interpersonal relationship building, and confidence and influence techniques, aimed at improving workplace performance and customer service.
