There is no safety of life even in capital: Dia Mirza

Actress Dia Mirza has expressed her outrage over the death of a man after a slab collapsed on an under-construction metro line in India’s commercial capital Mumbai, raising fresh questions about the city’s safety measures and unplanned development after the accident on Saturday.

Reacting to the incident, Dia Mirza said, “The government is failing to ensure the basic safety of the country’s commercial capital and the lives of its citizens.

The polluted air, the destruction of trees, the disregard for people’s lives and health – all of this is deeply disturbing.”
