Germany, Qatar and BIMSTEC congratulate Tarique for victory

Congratulating to BNP and it’s chairman Tarique Rahman is continuing. Germany, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Secretary General of BIMSTEC Indra Mani Pandey congratulated Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman today on his landslide victory in 13th National Parliament election, commending Bangladeshi voters for meaningful democratic participation and expressing readiness to work closely with the new government and parliament.
Germany : “We congratulate Tarique Rahman and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on the election victory,” read a message, issued by the German embassy in Dhaka. The German government also praised the active participation of the Bangladeshi people in the electoral process.
“We also commend the people of Bangladesh for their participation in the electoral process — a meaningful expression of democratic engagement — and extend our congratulations to all newly elected Members of Parliament,” the statement added. Germany expressed its commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Bangladesh under the newly elected leadership.
“Germany looks forward to working closely with the new government and the Jatiya Sangsad to further strengthen our political and economic ties, and to continue supporting Bangladesh on its path of democratic reforms and development,” the embassy said.
Qatar : Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has congratulated Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman on his victory in the parliamentary elections.
In a congratulatory cable, the Qatari premier extended his greetings to Tarique Rahman on his party’s success in the recently concluded 13th parliamentary elections.
The message reflects the close and longstanding relations between Bangladesh and Qatar, particularly in areas of labour cooperation, energy partnership and bilateral trade.
Qatar hosts a large number of Bangladeshi expatriate workers, who contribute significantly to Bangladesh’s economy through remittances.
BIMSTEC: The Secretary General of BIMSTEC Indra Mani Pandey today congratulated Chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Tarique Rahman on his party’s historic victory in the 13th national parliamentary elections.
In a congratulatory message, the Secretary General extended warm greetings to Tarique Rahman on leading the BNP to a decisive electoral win.
Bangladesh is a founding member and hosts the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), which promotes collaboration in areas including trade, connectivity, energy, security and people-to-people exchanges among member states.
