BNP wins 5 of 6 seats in Sirajganj, Jamaat in 1

13th National Assembly Elections, BNP nominated candidates win five out of six seats in Sirajganj and Jamaat candidate win one. On Friday morning, the office of the Returning Officer and Assistant Returning Officer confirmed this information through party sources.
As a result of 165 constituencies of Sirajganj-1 Kazipur and Sadar, BNP candidate Salim Reza win by getting 1 lakh 15 thousand 132 votes. His closest rival Jamaat’s Shahinoor Alam got 1 lakh six thousand 732 votes.
Sirajganj-2, Sadar and Kamarkhand constituencies, BNP nominated candidate and member of the party’s standing committee, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku win by a margin of about 40 thousand votes. As a result of the private polls of all 162 centers, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku got 1 lakh 77 thousand 631 votes in the symbol Sheaf of Paddy. His closest rival, Jamaat Islami nominee Muhammad Zahidul Islam got 1 lakh 38 thousand 225 votes.

As a result of 158 centers, Aynul Haque was elected by getting 1 lakh 61 thousand 278 votes in the symbol Sheaf of Paddy.
Sirajganj-4 (Ullapara) constituency, Jamaat nominated candidate Rafiqul Islam Khan win unofficially. He got 1 lakh 61 thousand 872 votes with the symbol of scale. His nearest rival M Akbar Ali of BNP got 1 lakh 61 thousand 277 votes with the symbol Sheaf of Paddy.
BNP central organizing secretary Amirul Islam Khan Alim has win in Sirajganj-5 Belkuchi and Chauhali constituencies. He win the seat by getting 1 lakh 282 votes as a result of 131 polls. His closest rival Jamaat’s Ali Alam got 80 thousand 283 votes.
Sirajganj-6 Shahjadpur Constituency, BNP nominated candidate Dr. MA Muhith has win by a margin of about 68 thousand votes. As a result of all the 160 polls, Dr. MA Muhith has got 1 lakh 72 thousand 114 votes in the Sheaf of Paddy symbol. His closest rival, Saif Mustafiz Shapla koli, the nominated NCP candidate of 11 party alliance, has got 1 lakh 3 thousand 704 votes in the symbol.
