Strict security at 76 Kamalganj polling centres

Special security measures have been taken at 76 polling stations in Kamalganj upazila of Moulvibazar ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.

To prevent any untoward incidents on polling day and ensure transparency, CCTV cameras have been installed at every polling station.

In addition, a strict six-tier security system has been established across the upazila.

According to administrative sources, the initiative has been taken to maintain a peaceful voting environment and to ensure that voters can cast their ballots without fear.

CCTV cameras have been set up at key points of all 76 polling stations. From a central control room, authorities will monitor both the interior and exterior of each centre round the clock.

Any attempt at irregularities or disturbances will be addressed immediately based on CCTV footage.
