Neena Gupta cries on set after being abused by director

Veteran Bollywood actress Neena Gupta faced a bitter experience early in her career.

She alleged that she was subjected to extreme humiliation by a director on the sets of a shooting despite doing nothing wrong.

The actress even broke down in tears in front of everyone after that incident. In a recent interview, she shared this bitter experience.

She said that early in her career, during the shooting of a film, director abused her in front of everyone in foul language. Even though her character there was very small and she had no flaws.

Neena said, “The director was probably angry for some other reason, which he expressed on me. There were a lot of people on the set at that time, I was standing there crying.”
