Port workers block Shipping Adviser’s convoy

Port workers protested by blocking the convoy of the shipping advisor, Brigadier General (Retd.) M Sakhawat Hossain.

The advisor said, I will listen to the labor leaders, I will also speak. I do not want any harm to the country. At that time, the advisor assured to talk to the port labor leaders about the emerging situation.

The third consecutive day of strike by the Port Protection Sangram Parishad has brought the Chattogram port to a standstill.

As a result, the arrival and departure of ships at the port jetty, delivery of imported goods from the port, container and cargo handling have stopped. Shipment of export goods has been stopped. Port users have expressed concern over this.
