Malaika selling khichuri, price is Tk 800!

Apart from acting, Bollywood actress Malaika Arora has also made her name in business world. Her restaurant ‘Scarlet House’ located in Bandra, Mumbai, India is now in the news.

However, there are many discussions on social media about the high price of ordinary food. In particular, there have been many discussions about keeping the price of a plate of khichdi at 550 rupees (about Tk 800 in Bangladeshi currency) on the menu.

While the regular masala khichdi on the menu is priced at Rs 550, the avocado toast is priced at Rs 625 and special salad is priced at Rs 720. In addition, price of Ludhiana’s butter chicken is Rs 750.
