What Nusraat Faria says about 48-hr detention

After months of arrest and imprisonment, Dhallywood actress Nusraat Faria has finally opened up about her experience.

Recently, in a podcast with Rumman Rashid Khan, she said that her dramatic arrest at the airport and the subsequent two days in jail have made her reacquaint herself with many familiar people in her life.

Faria said that she had heard about a case against her before.

However, she did not pay much attention to the matter as she was out of the country at the time. She first realised the horror of the situation at the airport while flying to Thailand for shooting.

Faria said, “I was going to Thailand to shoot a song. I never thought something like this could happen until I went to immigration.

When the police stopped me, I thought something was wrong. But when they took me to the detention room, I realised I was going to be arrested. In an instant, my world stopped.”

Faria, speaking about her experience after being released from prison, said that she learned a big lesson in life in just two days in jail. The biggest shock was the behaviour of the people around her.
