Nilphamari-2 constituency Overflowing crowd at Jamaat rally

A large election rally was held in Nilphamari-2 (Sadar constituency) organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami under the slogan “Let’s Build Together.” A massive turnout of party leaders, activists, and supporters was observed, making the event lively and energetic. Central Jamaat leader ATM Azharul Islam addressed the gathering as the chief guest. In his speech, he emphasized party unity, establishment of good governance, and securing the rights of the people.
Special guests included the party’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Abdul Halim, DUCSU VP Sadiq Kayem, JnUCSU VP Riazul Islam, and RUCSU VP Mostakur Rahman Zahid. Each of them spoke about youth participation, ethical politics, and development visions.
Among others who delivered speeches were Rangpur-Dinajpur regional team member Muhammad Abdur Rashid, District Ameer and Nilphamari-1 (Domar-Dimla) constituency scale-symbol candidate Principal Maulana Abdus Sattar, and newly joined Jamaat member from the Hindu community and Lakshichap Union Parishad member Mahesh Chandra Roy.
Nilphamari-2 parliamentary candidate Advocate Al Faruk Abdul Latif stated that Nilphamari lacks direct road connectivity with Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, Lalmonirhat, and Kurigram districts.
He promised to prioritize improvement of the district’s communication infrastructure if elected.
The program was chaired by Professor Anwarul Islam, District Assistant Secretary and City Ameer of Nilphamari.
Speakers highlighted strengthening party unity, presenting development plans, and seeking voter support ahead of the upcoming national parliamentary election. The rally concluded peacefully.
